Stages of railway spring production:

Hot winding with induction heating of the bar.
Quenching in oil - changing the microstructure and increasing hardness indicators
Heat treatment in furnaces to obtain the required hardness and relieve stress.
Multiple compression to create a useful residual stress and elastic reserve.
The ends are formed in two stages: pre-processing grinding and finishing.
Shot hardening of springs to increase the cyclic life of the spring.

Quality control of the workpiece includes several stages, starting from the moment of a responsible approach to the selection of a supplier, conducting an audit, and working out an experimental batch. As part of serial deliveries, physical and mechanical properties, microstructure and chemistry are monitored in the plant's laboratory.
